Test before going live — send the bot a few messages from the Dashboard chat box and confirm the AI responds and voice plays.
Save settings first — live responses use saved settings, not whatever is currently on screen.
Give Ollama 30–60 seconds to warm up after launch — wait for the green AI indicator.
Always keep the OBS overlay open for Neural voices — without it, audio plays through the app window instead.
Keep max tokens low (80–120) — a 400-token response takes 30+ seconds to speak and chat will have moved on.
Turn on "Ignore bot accounts" to prevent bot-to-bot reply loops with Nightbot/Moobot.
Use the system prompt as your content filter — e.g. "Never discuss politics, religion, or controversial topics."
Connect multiple platforms freely — StreamBuddy reads and responds across all connected platforms at once.
Regenerate the External Control token after any screen share or clip where it might have been visible.
Pace yourself through the feature set — you don't need Slots, Boss Battle, Stream Ads, and External Control on day one. Start with AI chat plus one game, then add features as you and your chat get comfortable.
