Chat Economy — Points, Fishing & Slots
Free. Runs in the background any time, independent of whatever round-based game is active. All off by default — turn them on in Settings → Chat Economy.
Currency Name
Rename "coins" to whatever fits your stream. The name is used everywhere it's spoken or shown — fishing, !tackle, slots, Boss Battle, Kraken Hunt, and Stream Ad redemptions. Chat can check a balance with !<currencyname> too; !coins and !balance always keep working.
Passive Chat Points
Viewers earn coins just for chatting — configurable coins-per-message and a per-viewer cooldown so it can't be farmed by spamming.
Fishing — !fish
Chat casts a line with !fish. Loot ranges from junk (an old boot, 1 coin) to legendary catches worth up to 200 coins — roughly 1 in 7 casts comes up empty. !tackle shows a viewer's catch history, !coins shows their balance.
Click the ⚙ gear on the Fishing card (Games page) to customize the catch pool: toggle any of the 15 built-in fish on or off, rename them or swap their emoji, adjust a coin value within its rarity's range, or add your own custom fish — pick a rarity and StreamBuddy fills in balanced odds and a coin range.
Slots — !slots
Chat wagers coins with !slots <amount>. Wins pay a multiple of the bet. Most spins post as plain chat text; jackpots and big wins also get a voice shoutout, and every spin shows on the Games overlay. Turn the command off in Settings → Chat Economy if you'd rather not have gambling on your channel.
NOTE: Common fishing catches and slot losses are chat-text only by design. Rare and legendary catches can be announced by voice, see Voice Announcements in Settings - Chat Economy.
