Settings Reference
Settings are grouped into five tabs: Appearance, Voice & Chat, Avatar & Overlay, AI, and Account & Advanced.
- Appearance — font size and Streamer Mode (hides API keys, serials, and other sensitive details while you're live)
- Themes & Colors — built-in and installed themes, chat background, chat text color
- Voice — voice selection (searchable, filterable by language), speech speed, volume, test playback
- Chat TTS — separate voice and speed for reading chat aloud, Subscribers Only, blocked-word filter
- Chat Economy — currency name, passive chat points, fishing, slots, voice announcements
- Post Replies in Chat — separate toggles for AI replies and game/bot messages
- Avatar & Overlay — avatar style, position and scale, name plate, overlay URLs for same-PC and dual-PC setups
- AI Engine — Local or Cloud provider, model, hardware auto-detect
- Voice Input PRO — mode, keywords, mic sensitivity
- License & Updates — your tier, and a Check for Updates button; StreamBuddy asks before it downloads an update
- External Control — Stream Deck / Companion token and action URLs
Tip: Settings only apply after you click Save. The voice test button plays whatever is currently selected, even unsaved, but live chat responses use the last saved settings. Themes are the exception: they apply the moment you pick one.
